Controversy is a state of a dispute or a real disagreement. Controversy also occurs when the media's involved. It seems that when there's a lot of controversy that has been seen on the news or heard on the radio, everybody will talk about it. Like when a football player, a basketball player, or a baseball player is or was using steroids to cheat his way to the top, all sports fans are talking about it, especially when ESPN Radio and other sports channels are involved. And when controversy's happening to a lot of politicians and government workers, that's a different story. there's a lot of corruption going on is this world, including the United States of America. We all know that controversies and scandals are the main subjects that all of Americans will have been talking about for the rest of our lives. This sort of cheating has to have real consequences, including for the corrupted politicians, the athletes who are cheating their way to the top by using steroids, corporate America being influenced by greed and corruption, and the news media are getting involved. Controversy's a bad thing for everybody, even a lot of celebrities. And if this type of controversy keeps up, there's no telling what bad thing might happen next.
