You Are My Hero
You are my hero by Nathan Stanford Standing near a Mountain Lake, looking at this peaceful place, focusing across the crystal clear, where the wind whispers here. The giants pines stand strong and true just like my feelings for you, As the sun touches down, I hear, the howl of the wolf I look all around to make sure that I have not been found by that Curious hideous mysterious hound, even in the moonlight what a beautiful place we have found, your mother has sent me here with flowers to put upon the ground she is not ready to come here, she told me to tell you that. But son she longs to hold you and I can’t blame her for that. Do you remember the time we camped here so many years ago it is still a beautiful place even with the snow, your brothers from the service were here the other day, saluted to you with honor and then they were on their way, they left this flag standing beside you and it proudly flies today, Son you are my hero, you make us very proud, but it still very hard to put your son in the ground.
