The Talking Clouds
The clouds in the sky like layers of snow on a mountain top. These ripples of white creating To the eyes such a beautiful delight. Then the dark clouds followed like A storm in brew. My heart was feeling the same Not knowing what to do. Is this the storm after the calm? Will it do me any harm? There is truth in what they say That you must live life day by day. So I’ll accept the dark clouds that come my way Because I know they will not stay. There is a silver lining that some times I do not see. Because it’s hidden well away from me. The clouds do talk and tell us so much We just have to look and listen And feel the softness of its touch. A little breeze and the clouds start to darken We then know that the rain is on its way And in the open we can not stay. And when we see the clouds oh so white We know that the sun will be hot and bright. And when there are no clouds left to see That’s when the darkness has fallen on me. I hope the darkness doesn’t cover my heart For if it does then we must part. My heart has been lonely enough It now needs a gentle touch. So my clouds please speak to me Tell me exactly what you see Do you see my heart like the Snowy white mountain top Or like the dark clouds from A brewing storm. Tell me where does it belong.
