A little round face with bright rosy cheeks, With little pink lips that pucker while you sleep. A true blessing given from God above, This child conceived in the union of love. A precious little boy wrapped in white, Whose tears of joy blurred my sight. Your little fingers wrapped around my thumb, Soon those little feet will learn how to run. It All Began… It all began with the poem 'Unborn Child' I remember it was a time in Kim and my life that we were much undecided on the issue of having children. It was New Years Day 2001, it was snowing. Kim was reading in front of the fireplace, While I was sitting on the couch. We started to talk about the baby issue again. I wrote this poem within seconds afterwards. Little did we know at the time how our lives were about to change.
