Skilled with a trumpet, he would make a huge impression. He became popular with classmate Bobby Rydell. As a teenage idol, his career started quite well. Many hit recordings went up Billboard’s charts quite high. The songs included “Venus”, “Dede Dinah”, and “Why?” Frankie made some film appearances many would know. There was some co-starring with Annette Funicello. In 1962 occurred Frankie’s wedding day, he would marry a beauty pageant winner named Kay. This happily married man became a father of eight. Up to today, Mr. Avalon’s life is still great.
