Sometimes It Hurts
Sometimes it hurts It hurts so bad, the need to love. It hurts so much it feels like I’m ripping my own heart out The strings of my heart tug and it’s like an emotional ripcord. My heart tearing for the need I need someone to hold me in their arms The want, the desire for the heat Passion is like a drug in an over-flowing cup I need to satisfy Like a hunger eating me up inside Like a rollercoaster ride I go up, I go down, round and round and round With every high and low it goes to show I care, I hope, I have dreams I’m just a human being Does loving someone who believes they don’t deserve it Does that change anything? It doesn’t change the feeling I can still remember when we first met The smell, the clothes, the hair, the look, the feel, the shoes you wore that night I was changed There is a whole new meaning to “Death do us part” I remember the moment we met because… I love you.
