No Nonsense
Those early 3am mornings when nobody is awake and your footsteps echo on the cold floor while walking to the fridge for the one diet soda and some fast food sitting alone waiting to be consumed. Freedom. No nonsense. No clutter. Just an empty apartment full of hope and inspiration. Alone. It makes perfect sense. Why do we need so much stuff? So many things that weigh us down. The apartment just shouts out....STOP burdening yourself with nonsense. Live simply, like me. Decorate yourself with sanity. Empower yourself with light. A new start. A blank slate. All the moments here are mine and only mine. I do a somersault in the middle of the floor. Nothing to bump into. I jump around and sing. Just my voice with no deep base booming from my stereo. I decide where the television should go. Now, why is THAT the first thing I do? Am I so used the noise of it that I can't enjoy one night of silence without having to imagine it there? No physical boundaries. I look around, smile. I think tomorrow I will postpone my furniture delivery for the following day and take one more night to surrender to the emptiness.
