Living Grave
Living Grave We tried to be brave We tried to behave We tried to give and we gave We cried as we slaved Understand: That this world This hovering coffin Is not worth the sweat in your palms This ticking time bomb The facade of worldly happiness Will never bring you to a calm Understand: That the number your heart will beat Is counted and written in the burning book of time There is no sickness you can treat Only a constant state of bittersweet And as you hear the sound of dirt being thrown on you Covering the world and its surrounding view You will be shouting to the living dead not to worry That you've understood And found the peace The peace that those in their living grave, the buried alive Are desperately trying to find In vain. Living Grave, For now but not forever.
