In Glory of the Birds and Bees
We have the Birds. . . Living life to the fullest. Rising with the dawn, eager and happy to seek out their first juicy meal of the day, without delay. For this meal gives them stamina to fly and gather twigs to carefully construct their nests . . . nests to welcome their little fledglings in the splendor of spring. Then we have the Bees. . . Bees live in their own devout community, ever busy and content to gather nectar to be shared by their fellow roommates without avarice or ego driven traits that plague the human spirit. We have much to learn from the tiny bee, flying free. The lesson we may learn from the birds Is that contentment may be found in the presence of Mother Nature as a divine gift acknowledging a balance of gratefulness, keeping within the bounds our eco system. The lesson we may learn from the bees is that each of us plays an important part in insuring our growth in humanity by sharing the fruits of our labor with each other in unity. Sorry, Carol, I blew it and somehow missed your large lettering of the word Acrostic. Not sure I will have time to write another for your contest. --Connie
