Edinburgh, Scotland
I spent over three years in Scotland What a beautiful place to be. There were so many things to do there and such interesting places to see. That old country is reeking with History But it's not what this poem is about I just want to talk about Edinburgh, Which has some features I’d like to point out. High above this beautiful city Sits a castle enormous and bold It houses The Stone of Destiny The Seat Of Scottish Monarchs of old. The oldest crown in Europe Containing Scotlands’ Crown Jewels Is maintained within the castle walls According to the Monarchy rules. Outside the Castle is a cobblestone street It’s called the Royal Mile which leads to the Palace of Holyroodhouse Where Mary Queen of Scots lived for a little while. Whenever the Royal Family visits And intend to spend more than a day, They go to Holyrood Palace And that is where they stay. It was home for Robbie Burns the poet And JK Rowling of Harry Potter fame The Royal Yacht is moored there Britannia is its name. It's called the Festival City in August of every year the Worlds Largest Art Festival is always held right here. There's so many more things about Edinburgh I wish I could recall because the few that I have mentioned are really not much at all. Scotland...
