Life's Paradoxes.
Life is just one big paradox, endless space, but we're locked in a box. We park in our driveways, and drive on the parkways. We build smaller computers to hold more information, we talk less, with our mass media communication. We produce more each day in quantity, but lack in every way in quality. We have more medicines than one could memorize, and now more diseases than any of us can realize. We hold ourselves high on our morals, but the news shows us, our fights and quarrels. We look beyond and try to understand outer space, and we can't even figure out the human race. We are all told to do our part and our share, but at 5 o'clock, we see smog alerts for our air. We have overcome and are not prejudiced, but in our hometowns, it can't be missed. This world is overpopulated with us all, so we tear down homes, to build a mall. The US is a group of states united, but we couldn't be anymore divided. We work a longer and harder day, but our bills, we just can't pay. We criticize people for being overweight, but fast food will never abate. Our government is more organized and powerful than ever, but our voice is heard almost never. These are just a few of the things I don't get, but these will not make me upset. I will accept them and move on, because they will be there tomorrow, with the rise of dawn.
