Open Our Hearts
Divine influence sends a mighty spark. But ramblings of man confound the heart. Each living soul can upon Truth embark. Hope inside self is where “knowing” must start. It matters not what human minds conceive. Ideas are transient, but Truth is not. Beginning became and some men believe. Just how it happened is wrought with thought. Rightness of the matter now is and was. Whatever it was since inner space spark. Teachers may incite commotion and buzz. The road to true knowledge is God’s hallmark Contention and hatred never were love. Religious differences might push and shove. Can we not know the creator above? Only when thinking greets the pure white dove. Notice parallels in sacred insight. Bury the angers; let differences enthrall. Encourage love’s spirit; seek truth and light. Let us open our hearts to each soul…to all. © July 21, 2010 Dane Smith-Johnsen Inspired “Go Ask Alice” by Deborah Guzzy.
