A Message To the Poets of Poetry Soup
Dear Poets, First of all, I would like to say hello. My name is Dakarai Cobb, but you know me as The Sonnet Man. Let me get right to the point. The reason why I am sending "a message to the poets of poetry soup" is because I want to let you all know how much I respect your opinions. Until I found this web site, I would have never dreamed of offering my poetry for a group of people to critique on a daily basis. I have enjoyed the feedback, and have enjoyed reading and critiquing all of your poetry as well. I would like to ask you all for a favor. I created a contest between Sarah Hales and myself, because I enjoyed reading her sexy poetry. I thought that we would have fun with this flirty challenge. However, we need people to help us judge this competition. This is probably one of the few times that the soup community will have an opportunity to judge a single contest collectively. So if you all are up to the challenge, then have at it. Thanks. Your friend forever. The Sonnet Man. In Writing, Dakarai Cobb (also known as Doc the poet)
