You seemed so strong and alive I never imagined in my wildest nightmares a world without you But now you are gone and I am lost. I feel a warm light tickle of a touch on my cold lifeless hand Is it you coming back for me? I try to clutch it but I can’t move I'm struggling to hold on now, it is now I wonder Have I made a mistake? But in my head I can hear your voice soothing and reassuring Your comforting words help me let go This room is fading away and with it so am I, I feel like smiling but don’t have the energy I am so very tired my mind turns to you and our memories; no longer do I feel the pain in my wrists I open my eyes And instant smile plays across my lips you are by my side! But something is different I feel weightless, not cold yet not warm You are looking at me and smiling, you look down I follow your gaze Confusion and love are my only emotions I can see myself but I do not look like myself I am pale and lifeless; trees surround this scene like something out of a film;some are crying others just morbid A grave is my new bed It is next to yours I turn back to look at you, You smile back, and kiss me softly I feel more alive with you now in this place than I ever did in my mortal life It is now in this new place that we can finally start to live xx
