Deadly Elixir
Just to sit back and watch someone pounding them down. Do they not know that the laughter will someday turn to a frown. Can they not see what they’re doing to us? When it is brought up, this subject they just can’t discuss. Can’t they see what they’re doing to their lives. And what about their friends, their children and their wives? Everything is covered over with an opaqueness so they don’t have to see, The devastation being caused by this lethal “cup of tea”. It seems that their troubles they think they can drown, By just drinking one more cola, with just one more shot of Crown. I had to write this because I’ve lost friends and my husband this way, and I just can’t believe there’s a drink in this world, that is worth the price they had to pay. Copyright: May 21, 2006
