Wolf Cry
Wolf cry in the night - frightening at campsite. Wolf and eagle, fox and beagle - what a sight. My dogs are part red fox, once had a beagle. All over my house are pictures of an eagle. On mountain top, stop to hear the wolf cry. Don't wonder why all God's creatures die. But they really don't. Spirits fly on higher. At times it seems that my straits are dire. They I pray for the spirits to guide my trek. In a fire, on a deck, in my car in a wreck. My life is calm now as the eagle flight. Heck Was it once upon time. Takes time to erect A house, chase away a mouse, find a spouse. Next time I hear the wolf cry, he's find grouse. Quiet as a church mouse, I pray for the day I fly with the eagle and hear the wolf say It's all right with the world yesterday. Today I pray for another June Ellen boat to float away. Holding Popi and Mother. It's sadder I played Many days ago in that boat on the Florida bay. For more peaceful days, I played and I prayed. I cried as the wolf cries in the night, my flights Back and forth from Delaware. I swear tonight I'll pray they're all ok as I always do. Through It all I'm unscathed, as I prayed for fairy truth. Fairly I played, faithfully I stayed. Aunt Ruth, Ruth to Luke, the faithful will no longer wonder Why the wolf cries, as the world cries to ponder When it's world's end. I don't wonder I know. For who I am and with the wolf and eagle I'll go.
