Once Upon a Time
You may not be perfect but why can't you see? You made me happy, you were perfect to me. If you ever read this, I hope you know, even though we are apart, these feelings will just grow. You could always make me smile, always make me laugh, but now you say, you want to take a different path. Looking back on those few moments, were you never satisfied? You were my comfort zone, to which I would run and hide. To feel for the first time, was that untrue? You might not miss me, but I will miss you. I felt alive, all over again, will this become a scar, underneath my skin? I am in that unknown, in an abyss, one more time, I picture that first kiss. Things may change, they may not. I'll just have to wait, they won't change on the spot. Once upon a time, as if in a fable, I was able to love, but you were not able. You look at it a lot different, you do not see, you made me happy, you were perfect to me.
