A Fire Ablaze
I want this feeling to burn Like a fire within the forest Uncontrollable and with only one variable Wind Wind is the very thing that can sway our love This feeling manifested in us Can only be changed by outside or underlying issues Whether it be controlled or wild It will always be there And just when you think it is gone You find out the power of the fire soon returns Just when it is gone It can awaken to reek havoc once again This fire has become my friend The soft amber ashes are remnants of all we were All we were to be All I wanted But I became this fire The very thing I was controlling Soon controlled me And after the fire had burned out I too, and lost all My soul was emptied of my previous passion Of its previous excitement Ambitions Dreams This fire inside me That started ablaze Disappeared when the wind died Where inside me, do memories of you confide?
