Farewell Waves
Tears emerging creating streams of farewell waves as we regret the days of disagreement and hostility we sent packing sending us straight to our demarcated ways what happened to those wasted days those lovely moments we offered for sale we took for granted, didn’t appreciate the memories, experiences, moments and thoughts of you and me go down the drain now we’ve got nothing to gain but pain we promised to utilize the rain to nurture to growth the seeds and whatever comes our way what we promised to keep is nowhere to be found, what happened? it's obviously lost without a question, unbelievably denounced now we try to reach out, to hold on to, to tighten, re-connect but discover we’re fading away in a flash too quickly not losing grip we hold hands, firm, not letting go, determined fate alters, takes charge, interrupts us spliced as the train of life takes you away as I inscribe my grip on the palms of your hands never to be seen again in the very end .........
