where did you get that that settle cruelty was it with you all the time does it make you royalty do you know what it feels like to be looked at with a frown a frown so pitiable it could chase you out of town i know what it feels like to be a ball and chain going places i have to go and bearing the look of shame the quietness is deafening and secretiveness screams your wishing me away every time you flip a coin it's "heads i win, tails you lose" one of the ingenious tools you use against my attempt to compromise when compromising is all the communication i have left your frowning me away ignoring me away and kind smiles to others driving me away i refuse to be your pain and don't accept the victimization of your destain it is your kingdom you can reign just one subject less and the rest remain but if time should come when feelings change them weep because what's changed has changed you've had your satisfaction only an empty box remains
