Our Worship Dilema
We went to Worship Christ this morning, and I shall not besmirch But I felt like a Catholic, in a Baptist Church I'll tell you all a story, I'll do the best I can To explain the prior stanza, to help you understand You see we're Episcopalians, of the Highest Rite The highest in the Episcopal Church, that's maybe why I'm so uptight We're used to a large Procession, many times I'd take the lead But what we saw this morning, was much less than we need We need to feel the presence of, Our Lord, Our Christ, Our King For some it may not matter, for us, a necessary thing We need to hear the Sacristy Bell, as the Ministers come in As well as the Bells of Sanctus, when the Eucharist begins I need to wear my Vestments, and lead the Laity That's what I have been trained to do, what my Lord asks of me We need more than one Acolyte, for the assistance of the Priests At our old Church we had seven, four at the very least Our new Church is quite friendly, welcomed us with open arms Maybe we can assist them, with our subtle charms It's hard when you're outsiders, to make a drastic change God asks us for our patience, He'll see what He can arrange We truly hope this piece does not offend anyone.... When I am frustrated I write...God Bless Taz
