What Christmas Means To Me
We all sat around the Christmas tree As dad opened his Bible and read the story. We eagerly listened of a baby born What a wonderful blessing the people heard the next morn. This little baby who no one knew One day would work miracles and save us too. You see we’re bound by our sin until He died on the cross We were all wanderers, we were all lost. But it’s not just a story it’s reality you see That God loves the world and He picked me. To spread the story to everyone around To let them know, us, our sin can no longer be bound. That we too can go to be with Him Because on the cross He paid for all our sins. This is the true meaning of Christmas you see So go into the world shout praises and sing! Then he closed his Bible as a tear fell from his eye It’s God’s amazing love that He sent his son to die.
