It has been stretched tight, primed and ready, To become something no one has seen. Preparations are made: paint on the palette, Brushes laid out with great care. Then, at last, it is time to begin; Excitement fills the air. With rapid motions, paint covers the canvas, Working from left to right. Laying in the background colors, ('tint this one with a little more white') Never quite sure how the finished product will look, When she picks up the her brush to start. but experienced hands mix colors so deftly, You can tell she paints from her heart. Slowly the picture begins to take shape: Clouds form the background today, Blend in some green, blue, red, and yellow, In such a masterfully way. The painting isn't complete, In just an hour or two; But she has painted what the Holy Spirit, Has led her to do.
