Third Shifter Fog
Coming off third shift.. My brain was in a fog.. Feeling worn and old.. I arrive home, tired as a dog.. Went to get a drink.. Spilled some water on me.. Went to grap a sponge... It was~a rice crispy treat!? My knees were aching.. And so was my back.. I squeezed and smeared.. Dropping the~ toothpaste cap?! Reaching for a bag of cereal.. I was feeling very hungry.. Only to discover flavors of fish.. This tasted kinda funny!! I decide I needed mouthwash.. To rid this awful taste.. Washing my mouth out.. What?! This was Liquid soap.. So, I spit in haste! Nighttime came again.. I am getting ready for work.. Walking groggily outside.. I button up my shirt.. What's that awful smell? Someone bellowed out.. I looked around and wondered.. What was the yelling all about?! They pointed at my feet.. One dressed in black.. The other in dark blue.. Totally disgusted I was.. At the culprit of the smell.. On the bottom of my shoe!
