Just Open the Door
A life with no sun Makes a soul sad and dreary You seek the things of this world Still, no happiness you find But when Jesus steps in Your days become brighter For he changes your heart And gives you peace of mind Just open the door When the Savior comes knocking Don't turn him away Just welcome him in Take hold of his hand When he reaches out for you Just ask for his mercy And all your sins he'll forgive Don't sit there in gloom Heartbroken and weary For He can rid all the pain That you feel inside The things of this world Only last for a season But God's gracious love Will forever abide So open the door For the Savior is knocking Don't turn him away Just welcome him in Take hold of his hand For he's reaching out for you Just ask for his mercy And all your sins he'll forgive
