I'm breaking in ways I can't convey, but you can never tell. I guess that's why you looked at me and bid me your farewell. I often wonder to myself if I could ever escape the fall, And wish you never had the chains around your heart at all. I want to heal the hurt that sits deep beneath your feet, The pain that came long before–our ancestors' defeat. I want to take the ruins and grow flowers where there's weeds. Some how I will break this curse–with my love and my good deeds. There will be no other daughters who feel the same as I. This curse will end with me, and here is where it dies.
