In the Name of Allah (SWT) , The omniscient the exalted one Pilaf, Pilaf hithertosoneteer [Verse 1] Two or three cups of rice in the bowl, Warm purified water, let it softly roll. A spoon of ghee, salt to your taste, Crispy onions ready—nothing goes to waste. [Pre-Chorus] Blend the rice and onions smooth, Add a little water, find the right groove. Pour it in and blend once more, Till it’s silky, ready to pour. [Chorus] Pilaf, pilaf, warm and golden, Spread it thin and let it brown. Olive oil across the pan, Turn it gently, lift it now. Garnish, serve it while it’s steaming, Pass a plate around the table. Pilaf, pilaf, hot and hearty, Supper’s ready—come and gather! [Verse 2] Add olive oil, coat the pan, Spread the batter as thin as you can. Fry it slowly till the edges turn brown, Flip it over, let the other side round. [Chorus] Pilaf, pilaf, warm and golden, Spread it thin and let it brown. Olive oil across the pan, Turn it gently, lift it now. Garnish, serve it while it’s steaming, Pass a plate around the table.
