Gazing To Water
Beneath the scratches spanning this page, random thoughts have been paved I have no substance in the world at large, but this beat of life regroups to charge From battle songs to old lang syne, until death does turn the page of time The industrial world means nothing to me, its the ones who love I trust to set sight free If I cling to a breath that a burn cant free, I’ll look to the water for the release I seek All through life in times of need, no call of help was ignored by creed Following your trail through the paths of hell, I’ll spit into the depths of the devils well Somewhere I read that the pain we feel, is the mirror of joy no love can conceal On the racetrack of life I ride in my mind, flashing past memory I ache into the devine Past the horrors and pain I dont close my eyes, as the panavision carved it serratured my spine In the beauty and rapture of the purest peace, all the pain is forgotton and I find my release Acceptance of fate was a bargain I struck But all bets are off and I've run out of luck
