Then I was 30 suddenly, a teacher with a child aged 3 While resting in a nearby shade, I watched while, bathed in sun, she played. Then being 50 brought me joy. My daughter said a girl or boy would soon arrive, and so began my sunny-day-with-grandchild plan. Now, long-retired at 70, with grandkids grown, I long to be great-grandma with a little one joyously playing in the sun.
