It was brought to me by a secretive sky-walker passing by my window at night. He saw the candlelight I left as a sign, he slipped inside through the narrow crack in the intertwining pattern I had woven into the blanket hung beside my bed. That night I felt him circling, a moth of light above my head. He arrived unexpectedly, stunning me in my dream, though I had waited for him. His descent was fire — overpowering, burning, devouring desire. He inhaled deeply and touched my cheek. Space swirled open, a colorful gap pulling me through into a realm I did not know and I was terrified of My lover entered through my gaze, moving inward to the place where earth and heaven meet. He lifted me gently and carried me across landscapes both barren and lush. My cloud-walker lover rocked me like a child, taking me on a cosmic ride in a heavenly boat that had crossed ancient oceans before. We traveled through sublime, unrecognizable terrains — barren expanses, lush celestial gardens. Held in his tight embrace, I felt whole and safe. He carried me through the vast cosmic womb toward the gates of eternity, where a marvelous woman stood with blood-red lips and a warm, mysterious smile. Beyond the gates, I melted into him until we became one — a cosmic unison of galaxies, light and sound announced our union consecrated in heavenly court In the morning I woke alone, covered in sweat. He was gone. My unearthly lover — I will never be the same, nor satisfied with anything less the door of my destiny swung wide, opening the view of the abyss
