We are our worst enemy, sometimes in this life, sometimes we even stir up, all our own strife. We dwell on things, thats better left alone, or we bury ourselves, deeper inside our phone. Cutting off those around us, we begin to build our walls, as our world around us, continues to crumble and fall. Trying to become numb, to the pain that lives inside, no matter where we turn, there is no place to hide. The depths that we will go, to leave this void behind, as we are caught up, between our hearts and mind. The regrets and decisions, that brought us to this place, all the words of others, that left us in disgrace. The struggles and the heartaches, that this world will put us through, if we’re not grounded in the truth, the world leaves a mark on you. Weighed down by our burdens, the chains of the heart, now locked in this darkness, for it to do it’s part. Don’t let the darkness of this world, leave it’s mark on you, cause when it does, it makes us wish, that we were through. Rather leave your mark on the darkness, that you leave behind, in the Spirit of love, and from a sound mind. Walking in forgiveness, we learn to live again, where we put our trust in God, instead of the hands of men.
