I see your face from the east, still drenched in night prayers, slowly rising—like golden birds from the Garden of Eden, flapping their wings over the body of time, never tiring of counting its every trace. Let us recite the dhikr of the green grass, like the morning dew that sincerely gives life, even as the wind sings old hymns, reaching the ears of shepherds when they lose their way and find love in the silence. I stand on the shoulder of a barren hill, gazing at the dots of light that trace the village streets, brushing the thatched roofs of houses, like a mother combing her child's hair before setting out into life. Arunika; you are the rose of fire which the sky sheds on the bosom of barren lands to burn the remaining straw attached to the face of the earth. Behold—a shining wine goblet swallowed by the earth every morning to wake the rivers from their long sleep and teach the birds how to read sky verses with wing language. Thus— Let Arunika continue to radiate her light to enlighten weary souls and find your way home like ancient Greek ships who found the port through the stars and the song of the sea. Because in the end— every point of light that radiates is a love letter from the sky sent to earth so that we never forget that light is always born again from the womb of darkness.
