Enter Poem or Quote (Required)Required Life can send one in to turmoil As if in the blink of an eye Throwing one into confused clarity. Though numb, hearts bleed and cry. So to distract oneself from woe To avoid pits of despair, There's a place where I love to go... Poetry Soup is there! It gives one space to think and breathe To recieve something uplifting. We gain so much from being here We too get the joy of gifting! We never know from poem to poem How much our works impact. Then someone reaches out and says, "You made a difference. Thanks for that!" That feeling of togetherness Is an anchor to the soul. Somehow sharing in this global Soup Shrinks an empty hole. On here we find meaning and make friends And over this past year, Poetry has been my therapy. It's a blessing you are here!
