"I am a mere shadow of Nature's awe Merest ghost of flesh, of all that I saw A whisper floating on evening winds A dreamer, with hope of what life portends" Robert's level of humility is beyond reproach and in writing this I hope I do not encroach upon his privacy in any manner or form... Robert, you are missed and I mean no harm. I miss your brilliant poetry with long titles, your many blogs that you thought were vital your gracious invitations to collaborate with you, and your attitude in life that gets you through. I write these words to Robert and to poets, hoping he will read this and know it's been too long since we've read his poetic lines a feast for poets, upon which many of us dine. Ill health has kept you away from us far too long and I pray, dear Robert that nothing more is wrong that keeps you away from holding pen in hand. Your absence is felt like a beach without its sand. Long time sensitive poet, Robert filled many PS pages sharing with us what he loved or sent him into rages. Writings from his younger years to which he held fast... tell us of the man worthy of being among the PS cast. Please know that you're quite often in my thoughts and I'm sure your poetry lives in many other hearts. I wish that one day soon, I will be happily surprised to be reading a new Robert Lindley with my own eyes.
