My Dear Father
Man of honor midst meekness' valor Young-looking always yon aging ardor... Dear Father fulfills life-building zest Enabling each family member to do fullest best Anchoring home very well along God's love and grace Rearing and nurturing us, his children for triumph's race... Father with integrity's glow radiates against hopelessness' attack Allowing his cheerful spirit to pervade, prevailing upon serenity's pack Training us for victorious achievements with supplication and prayer-aid Hoisting our faith toward trust in the Lord, defying doubts of skeptical raid... Ever-living in my heart, his legacy does reign, influencing my reaching-out flight Reverberating his ministerial accomplishments I yearn to extend with grateful delight. Dedicated to my ever-dearest Daddy; and likewise to my spiritual father, my Pastor. Ephesians 6:4 And, ye fathers, provoke not your children to wrath: but bring them up in the nurture and admonition of the Lord.
