MAGIC ROMANTIC GYPSY BREW
Cooking for your mate, Goes Back to the caveman, And ,yester-year. Firstly, it must have delighted The eyes, then mouth watered The mind and finally settled In an already over full tummy, How yummy. For over as far back as humanity Goes, learning has traversed An awesome culinary journey. Cooking a meal for the love of your life, Has brought a cauldron of pure inspiration, To your kitchen, in which many hours Of pure stimulation, Will help to produce a meal of sophistication, Containing pure aphrodisiac powers. Preparing for your handsome beaut, Or just thinking of the herbs, the spices and fruit, The basil, pansies geraniums, added to the meal, The over-powering aroma of your lamb roasting In the clay oven, smothered with organ-um, Course salt, a mixed pepper blend, rosemary, and Squeezed lemons from your garden, finally, A generous splash of rich, red wine. All of this preparation has intoxicated you In anticipation of tonight’s dine. The grapevines dangling from above, Everything perfection for your love, Dinner in your pretty, pot-filled courtyard , Fairy lights everywhere, you’ve worked so hard. The air full of expectancy, And weighted with A certain anxiety. Temptation, being your cue, Excitement and tummy butterflies grew. Of course, magic had to be an ingredient, For you are Greek and wise, And looked up a gypsy’s advice, The time just flew, Whilst you whipped up an exotic brew. Romance is the order for tonight, To set his palette and heart alight. The doorbell rings, You let your hair loose And untie your apron strings.
