The virgin spring where all your sorrows drown runs deep and sweet to bless the thirsty ground. Thus, in your eyes all things, conceivèd new, find hope again to start their earthly round of doing, grasping, struggling — dying too, when Spring’s rebirth is waking to the sound of breathing you in shining bridal lay: the blue of you is seen where flowers pray. Most lovely, sweet, serene, my morning love brings light and music — comforts from above. Christopher M. Swan, "Song of Susan," 2008
