He can heal [Chorus] He can heal this disease, you’ll see Cancer won’t destroy him and me We always pray, recognizing Healed by His stripes, His sacrifice [Verse 2] It’s a word and it isn’t cut in stone When we hear it spoken, we know It’s impossible to predict what will come But God knows and He is in control [Chorus] He can heal this disease, you’ll see Cancer won’t destroy him and me We always pray, recognizing Healed by His stripes, His sacrifice [Verse 3] It’s a word, not a message from above When we listen to His grace, we’re assured Whatever may come, we have sweet love And He’s always here, a gentle word [Verse 4] Cancer is nothing but a diagnosis Doctors can’t be sure of the prognosis Whatever comes, there is One Who knows and controls – He is the Son [Bridge] He’s shining down a light, a heavy flow Blood bought promise – He’s the One Who knows, whatever comes, there is hope This hope is built by hands we hold… [Verse 5] His hands hold ours, when we pray Comforting and assuring… come what may He is here to guide us, to heal and say Love is still stronger than any ill… [Outro] Love is still stronger And love will fulfill
