Love's Pure Light
“Silent night, holy night, Son of God, love’s pure light Radiance beams from Thy holy face with the dawn of redeeming grace.” Joseph Mohr 1816 People of all nations have sung these words for around some two hundred years. Light reveals truth for both scholars and nerds, for everyone who face their fears, for one who quits grinding his gears, for someone who shares secret tears. Light shines on darkness exposing the truth, showing us what needs to be changed in actions that are selfish and uncouth. God has a plan He had arranged when man’s senses became deranged, when arguments left us estranged. Father God sent Christ to earth to be born; redeeming grace lit up the skies; beams of forgiveness flashed that Christmas morn. Though His birth required His demise, His blood was the just compromise, and three days later, He would rise. When we repent of making bad choices we pray to God, whom we believe will pardon our sins. Jesus rejoices that His grace redeems what we grieve, His blood sacrifice - our reprieve, and His pure light we will receive.
