He saw the fire in the sky at night, A meteor shower’s breathtaking display, The stars like diamonds, shedding gentle light, Chasing the world’s demanding cares away. He heard the stream’s soft, whispering song, the pines’ low sigh, A serenity that sinks into the soul, And saw the eagles in their silent fly, Making the wounded spirit strong and whole. Now in this solitude, his heart takes wing, He seeks the grace in every rock and tree, A deeper wisdom that the mountains bring, A sense of belonging, wild and truly free.
