A young lad has passed by One of those with bad intentions Who said to her: -Beautiful, I'd sleep with you. He suddenly went inside And her mother asked her: -Daughter, who is that boy who's been courting you? -Mother, that boy is nobody He's "Cachalunas," the blacksmith's son Who wears ripped trousers And isn't quite right in the head Because he parades his in the street With more beard than the barber's face Singing like a bailiff: -My is for a woman Not for a man. -You know, daughter As your two brothers and sister know That you will marry Whoever your father says. While she was saying these words The husband arrived. Upon opening the door to the dining room He went at once Towards the balcony overlooking the street Because he saw that the blacksmith's son Was trying to jump over it. And he said to him in a bad mood: -Cachalunas, come down to the street right now Or I'll grab you by the hair And drag you to Skull Hill Where I'll tie you naked to a tree So the crows will come And peck out your eyes. Cachalunas turned pale And when he let go He hit the ground hard As he fell, he kept saying: -Sir, I've had a fever And while walking down the street I came across some silver keys That I thought were From your daughter's chastity belt That's why I brought them to you.
