Enter Poem or Quote (Required)Required The leaves near gone as branches become bare, the emptiness sets in November is the season of death, where one feels the coldness within Time of reflections; of your past that goes back to your childhood days How it all played out & the lessons learned, and the wisdom it conveys Where they can learn to heal, or decide to stay damaged, and distorted Pity those who went on with their anguish ignored and as unsupported Who grew to inflict their pain onto others and blame them to the cause Not allowing the seasons to stop for death or rebirth, there is no pause As those who allow November to stay embedded forever in their hearts Fail not only themselves, when from their heart the pain fails to imparts Scarring those around you with your wounds that are not theirs to share As the lean branches remind us however bleak they will not remain bare That they stand their loss with strength, as with reliance of a new spring And a flurry of new leaves descend upon us as to each branch they cling Till then November bares our souls to the winter to toughen our growth Teaching us to bear all our hurts and pains whilst to all others we expose That death; can only bring with it a coldness that everyone has to endure A emptiness of abundance' that only the other seasons will on us ensure November; being the start of the colder months that are still yet to come Where one holds out their painful emotions, until they are all about done Painful memories that are frozen in time lessen as the new spring arrives As the new leaf buds push on through, & that old winter then on us dies Harbour; not old resentments that only endeavour to mar your wellbeing Ignoring those who are no more than just resentful of you ever achieving Who took their own failures out on you, expecting you to carry their cross And as for every time you carried their cross, it was you that paid the cost
