She traveled in time to see her nan, And thank her for today’s treatment plan, And all the women who died too young, Their strength and courage should still be sung. The past's women knew their lives would be short, Joined clinical trials for support, They knew they wouldn’t have much to gain, A sliver of hope, maybe less pain. They are the reasons survival is good, Women now live from cancer as they should, Back then science meant well respected fact, Due to progress, lives today are intact.
