Empty, his nets, though effort was grand— Till Jesus stepped in with a quiet command. “Cast out once more,” the Teacher said plain, Though logic protested, and reason complained. Yet Peter obeyed, though doubt still did cling— And suddenly fish filled everything! The boats nearly sank, the nets tore apart, But more than the catch, it pierced Peter’s heart. He fell to his knees, undone by the sight— The power of grace, the presence of Light. O soul that strives with tireless hand, Who builds by ego, every woman and man— Know this: the fruitless night is grace, A mirror to show the striving’s place. For effort alone cannot birth the flow, Nor logic unlock what Spirit bestows. But when you yield, and cast again, The waters respond—not if, but when. The ego says, “I must control,” But Christ invites, “Come, I’ll make you whole.” The ego clutches, plans, and schemes, While Christ awakens the Soul’s deeper dreams. To turn from ego is not to lose— It’s choosing love, it’s heaven’s hues. It’s casting not by force, but trust, And watching nets fill and they must. With ego the night, the toil, the strain— The soul exposed in silent pain. In Jesus we experience the golden dawn, Where trust arises and fear is gone. This miracle marks the sacred shift: From striving hands to Spirit’s lift. From effort’s grip to open palms, From restless waves to inner calms. Sit and breathe, release the fight, Turn from ego that lacks delight. Then cast your net in waters still, Not by force, but by God’s will. Speak aloud: “By faith I cast,” And feel your burdens gently pass. Imagine nets on purpose so full— Provision, peace, and God’s Spirit’s pull. Now cast again with make God your trust. Heaven and earth will yield, it must! Expect to receive abundance with joy. Teach this to your young girls and boys.
