Severed from His majesty until He returns from the beyond By and by must suffice while to and fro Satan trods As sudden as God spoke Creation's words, the trumpet begins to sound With His royal cavalry His promises resounds Written in this candlelight by antiquity's scribes As promised in His billet doux, a love letter to all alive
