promises promises
Promises fade Just like a jade In the ocean waves It surely saves… My lonely soul tonight Broken pride Again, you lied In the ocean waves It surely saves… The spirit of might Illuminating my light tonight Is what you do to me Hesitating as I see red light Is a dilemma of anxiety Promises kept me in a knot When they are entirely torn Promises do practically rot When they are forever forlorn Colliding and I cascade Into the river tide, I laid My promises down and I drown In the ocean waves and all the way down In the ocean waves It surely saves… The silent treatment you give me The disheartenment you possibly Fed me since 1997 Dread inside again… Bed-ridden with hidden vanity It’s uncanny that you’re happy, Bringing me down and I nearly drown In the waves of deliberate doubt As I talk my talk with hardly a frown As I walk this route and I’m out…gravity-bound I braved a solace shame Shame on you, for I came Undone in your lonely oceanic, ominous motion Of your unfiltered emotion…my, oh my lost devotion Frightened me, for you gave me the shakes Tightened my grip on these inner brakes I’m dying alive in your arms, But I survived the harms You put me through and you deceived me with charms Of manifesting, manipulative misery A lost love of a mystifying mystery Promise me you won’t let go of me Abyss liberty won’t let me be free Please ease my anxious mindset I’m hanging by a thread of regret Flawed perfectly by your web of warped-up wretchedness Gnawed indecisively upon your skin from within and hopeless Promise me you won’t end up like me, my baby You won’t end up being broken eternally.. Somehow, you’ll see….. My angst and my agony… Now, you will be free, unlike me, darling bliss Take wing, take wing, take wing It’s everything…everything…the thing is… Bring me serenity and its sting Promises fade and get used to it, for it will happen night and day with utmost dismay It progresses, the tension between us and you throw shade my way I prey upon the waves of your emotions I’m sorry for my uncertain decisions I pray we are oceans united and undo the good that died Aside from the dread inside, aside from the loneliness that left me with tears to cry and hide The ocean waves is where my spirit abides Your lonely soul tonight lies with my own prides Bruised… Abused… Don’t shame me for loving someone else rather than you Won’t you blame someone else for your rue and what you go through? Or do me a flourishing favor and give your apprehension tides A reason to heal my perplexed prides and be my remedy rides Oh, you did mend As I began my end As promised…as promises send A lone love I tend to comprehend Promises are temporary So are memories; however, you — You’re an endless sea Of emotional endearment anew This lonely soul met your spirit of might at last You’re my true future, my present and my past I want to taste your happy tears As I roam home, no longer lost Years of our fears fade like most promises do But my promise to you won’t ever disappear, true Promises fade, But my promises to you won’t fade
