Plead
I raddle in my silly little cage. Pacing and begging. From whispers to screams. I beg. But none hear. None want to. It's all just for nothing? But then when the light is fading. When nothing seems to glimmer and shimmer with delight. Something so small will happen. If your too busy begging for your god, if you have one, to hear you just might miss it. Something simple. Something sweet. The most meaningful though. Would be seeing another, pacing and raddling at their chains. Some one trying desperately to be better. Hating the situation around them, with minimal options. That small look though. That soft broken smile. Isn't it so sweet? Something close to bliss? When you see your pleads for all the pain to end echoing on a strangers face? A look that whispers softly, showing a broken apology and a mutual shame. One that only we can see, they say they can but they don't ever know the real meaning. The one of recognition, of being seen as a human being, of having someone share the pain without question, without resentment nor hesitation. That small moment of solidarity. It'll be quick, it'll be so so quiet. So watch. And listen. You just might see more. No one can hear, there is just too much noise. But I bet you can see. You are not alone in this pain. But when will you see that the chains holding us all in this torment, Well, their our own silly little wish, for a world without pain. The thing holding us back is the wish to not cause pain. Such a shame they only learn by their own tools, mainly breaking the broken. I think they know it but do you?
