Day to yourself
You wake up to the day you dreamed of, The schedule is free. Take the breath you deserve! Repeat to yourself the little lies and fake love that's sheltered you until the eve, You sit in your mind at a table that doesn't wobble, that cup you have is your inspiration, Reoperation's are made to your co calendar. Blush applied to the forced smile, waving at the neighbors that only but a glance could hold your distain and resentment of walking out the door, You're a positive person on the sun, That makes your movement's just as important. Holding your own chin while enjoying the fleeting minutes until the day is gone. You go for a walk and look but only up, By no accord on your actions the stars themselves mock your image, You hold your breath when passing a church , You do so to not speak the truth. You'd take the short cut home but the freeing of yourself is too tempting. People in passing don't mind the odd way you stroll, In fact they look away, You left your hat at home, You feel the rules of your youth communicating with a silent eye. Lips pushed to the side trying to figure out where to put you hands, Eye's twitching and vibrant, The whole time music has played in your ear. You close your eyes and just nod your head, Hoping the sun doesn't revisit and the night will live on forever, The air crisp and flowing, The smell of the rain that just finished cleansing the streets, But you know that that water only pulls the regrets down into the pipes, Where people are happy to know that the filth they themselves had discarded is now out of sight. There was a time where the puddles use to be freeing and a sign to jump. Now the same are just used to avoid and become the wet filth by having been drenched. Hold the jacket you have over your ears the air had turned them numb, You should just go him! NO! You are outside and breathing the air th- THAT'S POLUTED? No! The air that hasn't felt your rage or you discontent. What have you done?! This is your day! You're supposed to take it! You are! You are inconsistent. You're not balanced or relaxed, How do you relax with that thing yelling at you? That thing is your guide! It's almost midnight, You're not in a movie so what? You know you have to get up, To do what? Get up! What?! Get! Up! You then realize that the day wasn't night that the moon was just a light and the road but a blanket, the jacket but a thought. You sink into your mind not knowing life from dreams, The tears you have fall into the pillow. the day.
