Starwhisper
Beneath my window, velvet dusk spills wide- A tapestry woven with silvered eyes, old as longing. Tonight, I lean into the hush, the playful tension Of being seen but never fully known. The stars tilt, ancient storytellers in their scattered court. With every shimmer they gesture, inviting secrets to dance. I feel their whispers rush down, a gentle cascade: Tales of love pressed between shadows, lost promises Drifting like petals into the dark. Hope-fragile, mischievous- Flickers in the seams, daring me to believe again. Their light slips through my curtains, soft as a memory That trembles at the edge of sleep. It stitches my heart in silver thread, reminds me How laughter and tears are both born from longing. Each gleam is a pulse-a reminder that sorrow's ache Exists alongside joy, that my soul dances in their reflection. But their silence-oh that delicious, aching silence- Holds mysteries nestling deep within the velvet. What secrets do they cradle, just out of reach? I sense the questions swirling: Is hope always enough? Does loss ever loosen its grip? They don't answer, yet the hush sings. A playful dare, a tension spun between knowing and wonder. So I gather their whispers in my arms, cradle the stories Passed from one woman's heart to another. I am part memory, part wish, part wild laughter Braided into the unending dialogue of stars. Tonight, the sky is both a mirror and a mystery- And I am listening, always listening, for one more secret To shimmer through the darkness and find me.
