When did his words become mine?
"I'm a good person." HA! "I'm strong because I'm surviving." Or you're weak and complacent... But ok girl... sure. "It isn't my fault this happened." Sorry. . . Did someone else say yes for you when he proposed? "I am not enabling him anymore. I am not a bad woman." Jesus Christ... You STAYED with him. HIM! Do you think any other woman is looking at you and the things you let him do and thinking 'shes still a good woman'. They're not. "I don't bring out the worst in him. I just experience the worst in him." Who else do you think is pissing him off? It's YOU that lives with him. It's YOU that forgot to put his laundry in the dryer. "Things could be better for me. I could leave" That's rich - do you think you're going to find someone BETTER? Or for that matter - do you think you'd find anyone else at all? "I'm going to leave." Yeah, sure girl. Going to use all that "strength" that you know you don't have. If you did- Why'd you let him hit you? I've gotta stop talking to myself like this... When did I let his words become mine?
